Nothing seems to be more taboo that talking about nutrition these days. It's really interesting to listen to people describe what and how they eat. There is always some kind of underlying theme or belief that lead them to the way they eat. It most cases this isn't as problematic as you would normally think, however, the stronger they feel about the way they eat, it won't matter how bad it is, they won't give it up.
The stronger they identify with their belief about nutrition, the harder it will be for them to accept that what they are doing might not be the healthiest. I've seen over the years how people will discard a large amount of science because it doesn't fit their narrative of nutrition that they have developed for themselves.
Overall, this isn't something that shouldn't be taken lightly, and I believe it is something that we should talk about more depending on the situation.
So have a listen and let me know what you think.
